Fresh Fruity Yogurt

We got this "recipe" from a friend who prefers this yogurt to prepackaged "fruit on the bottom" yogurt.  After we tried it, we realized that it actually tastes better and sweeter than premade "fruit yogurt" but eliminates the syrups and preservatives that you'll find in other yogurts.

Our Friend's reasons for loving this yogurt:
  • No preservatives, no added sugars etc
  • Flexible serving size (want 1/2 cup, that's ok!  prefer 2 cups that's ok too!!)
  • Add as much or as little fruit as you want!
  • Don't like the store's favorite flavors?  Create your own fruity mixes!
Ingredients:
Fresh or Frozen berries
Low fat Vanilla Yogurt

Use your food processor to pulverize the fruit.  Add roughly 1 spoonful of fruit for 3 spoonfuls of yogurt (or use any proportion you prefer).

Preparation time: <5 mins
The pulverized fruit will last approx 2-3 days in the refrigerator in an airtight container.  We recommend that you do not prepare more fruit than you can eat in 1-2 days.
