We Geese live next door to a few dogs.   One dog likes to START barking at 9:30pm and continues for at least 1/2hr to an hour.  We're not sure why the barking starts at that time...maybe the dog likes to go out at that time for his last "run" of the day?   We're not even sure which dog this is because there are so many dogs in a very small area and we haven't been able to actually see the dog who is barking.   Any advice on how to discourage a dog from barking?  

We're hoping that our new double paned windows will help to "insulate" against the noise.  :)
