OpalGoose recently went on a trip. As background, we have to explain that Opal is a rather organized Goose. She now wears her crocs to facilitate easy “shoes on, shoes off”. She unpacks her laptop before reaching the xray and has her baggie with hand lotion ready for inspection. All she has to do is throw her stuff into a gray bin and put her bag on the conveyer and she’s ready to go through xray herself.
On this recent trip, Opal was in line and the guy in front of her was carrying a rather large carryon. When he arrived at the security checkpoint, he took his jacket off, removed his belt, unloaded all of his pockets, took his shoes off, then proceeded to literally UNPACK the entire carry-on! This guy had 5 gray bins himself! Opal, who takes after Wilbur in being a bit impatient, admits that she stepped in front of the unpacker dude. What’s interesting is that he didn’t notice for QUITE awhile. He was rather upset. Opal apologized and explained that she felt that he was unpacking and thought he wasn’t ready to go through security yet.
So, what do you think? If a guy is unloading his life at the security checkpoint, is it ok to go ahead if you’re ready to go?
On processing, please waiting for ...
