Bringing One Store’s Bag to Another Store

Bringing One Store’s Bag to Another Store

Posted in [Shopping Dilemmas] By MitzyGoose

Here’s the deal.  We have two Randall’s grocery store bags and two Elfa bags (free from the Container Store with Elfa purchase).  Our weekly groceries fit nicely into these four bags.  SallyGoose thinks that she should use HEB store bags at the HEB and shouldn’t use the Randall’s bags.  WilburGoose, being the frugal Goose that he is screamed “NO!  Why would we buy 4 more bags just to have a different logo on the bag?  What’s next…will we have to have Kroger bags to shop at Krogers???”  The rest of the geese are on the fence – frankly who cares whose logo is on the bag, we’re saving HEB a few pennies per bag (our bags hold 2x as much groceries as the little plastic bags), but maybe it’s rude to use a Randall’s bag at the HEB.

So…what do you think?  Do you match your bags to the store?  Or do you use your bags at any store, regardless of which logo is printed on it?
