Towel Animals

Towel Animals

Posted in [Cruising] By Wilbur Goose

We admit to starting this thread about towel animals...why? Because we need more of them. Selfish as that may sound, we love our towel animals and can't wait to see each day's new creation.

We took towel animal making class and learned that you can only make towel animals with towels that have the correct moisture content...it's in that "almost but not quite" dry stage...hot, steamy, perfection! You quickly fold the towel animals and as the heat dissipates, the moisture evaporates and your towel is now CRISP and holds those folds very well.

We were shocked to hear the rumor that towel animals may be...COUGH...REUSED from cruise to cruise???? We geese say "not possible..." but we will be on the lookout. With 9 sea days, we'll have plenty of time to patrol the halls seeking piles and piles of towel animals being picked up and delivered. We can imagine carts full of animals to be delivered...we just can't imagine making each one in each room. But we doubt we'll ever find the "pickup" from each room. My goodness...what will they do if a passenger does something like...USES the towel to wash off??? Will we find some cabin attendants cursing saying "Oh no...another towel to be folded next week...
